ABOUT ME
I have always been interested in understanding complex problems, to frame them in an understandable way and to create practical proposals for decision making and management.
I have over 10 years of experience working in the supply chain and operations departments of multinational companies. I am interested in understanding complex systems and decision making under uncertainty through tools such as Quantitative Analysis, System Dynamics and Real Options evaluation models.
My industrial experience includes the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and OE (Operational Excellence) practices, auditing supply chain SCOR model, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22001 and OHSAS 18001, several ERP implementation processes, management as supply area manager of budgets over US$ 900 million, as well as negotiations of up to US$ 190 million contracts.
Currently, I am a Researcher at the Technical Univeristy of Denmark DTU for the project "CyberShip - Cyber-resilience in the shipping industry".
